Why we started a Men's Group?

A little background.

As coaches at Life Coaching Miami we have taken numerous trainings and workshops. It was not unusual for us to be in a seminar learning about new directions in healing or advances in relationships, and finding a sea of women and just a few men.

One particular workshop ended with people jumping up and dancing to the song "I Am Woman", with the 3 men being invited to join!

I raise these examples to make a point. Most of the human growth movements of the last few decades have been inspired by, created by and attended by women. Women took back their rights, power and humanity and they moved forward.

One of the ironic consequences is that for many men seeking transformation and growth, the literature, workshops and language are steeped in the feminine, not addressing the masculine path.

The Focus of the Group and Forum.

Ultimately, the focus will be support in moving towards authenticity and your core.

The focus of this Group is to support you in moving towards your authenticity and core.

We will be using Being Centered as our core manual.

Being Centered was written to redress the foundation of healing and transformation, to make it clearer, more effective and practical and to be equally applicable for men and women.

Being Centered uses a common language – the language of our will, inner power and spirit. It is practical and to the point. It lays the foundation for practical transformation and growth without the fluff.

This is not an us-versus-them group. The focus is real growth, the kind that will make a difference in your life, in your relationships and in your spirit.

Although I am the Forum facilitator, I will invite my wife, Susana Sori, from time to time to share insights that men need to know about relationship and the female psyche. In that way, the group will gain a more balanced perspective, and a much deeper appreciation of relationship

Group Details

Each Group Forum will start with a short presentation on a particular focus or theme. The Forum will then continue to address issues, challenges and solutions as they are brought forth within the group.

Cost:
$65 per 3 hour Forum.
$245 for prepaid series of four.

Dates and times:
Date to be announced. Two evenings every other week, 6:30 - 9:30 pm.
